OLMS Colloquia 11/08

We belong to a homeschool group called the Oregon Leadership Mom School. We just meet once a week. We have book discussions and activities for the kids. There are 10 families and 50+ kids. We take turns being in charge. It was my day when we discussed The Wizard of Oz. We did rainbow art (as an homage to the movie, there are no rainbows I can recollect in the book). We made tornadoes, played games, made tissue poppies, Emerald City glasses, and Alexis taught children how to sew little stuffed mice. It's a lot of work, but the kids sure love it!
