Activity Days Daddy Daughter Date 6/2011

Julia and Annie are both in Activity Days together right now.  They have the BEST leaders and asked all the fathers to think of a creative way to ask the girls on a date.  Jesse is lucky to have me, because I came up with this poster for him, but he did the asking.  They all went with Jesse's dad (they needed an adult for each dad and Grandpa Fox graciously accepted).  They had a fantastic night.
I don't know if you'll be able to read this.
This was a game where they guessed which dad/grandpa's toes belonged to whom.
I sent Jesse with the camera, and these are the only two pictures he came home with. Guys.  :)

Alexis and Jessica 6/2011

Two of our beauties.

The Gunters 6/2011

Our wonderful friends the Gunters came to visit from Utah.  It was so nice to spend time with them again!!  They were our best friends when we lived in Spokane the first few years of our marriage.  Their cute daughter Syndey, really likes babies and had a ball playing with Asher.  He was a good sport.

Asher looks like he's looking into heaven.  I love this expression.
This is his funny face he does when he sucks his lips in.  We love this baby too Sydney!!

Fondant 6/2011

This is what I brought to John's class for their last day.  They have been studying caterpillars and this is "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" made from cupcakes.  The head was a small round cake that I covered in fondant.  I've never used fondant before and I was really happy with how it turned out.

Of course my girls wanted to try using fondant also.

I love having little protege's in the kitchen!

End of year celebration 6/2011

Our neice Abby is on the bottom left hand side.  She was cute too!

John's SVLA class put on a cute presentation about caterpillars and butterflies.  He was the star of the show!

Asher's bassinet 6/2011

He's finally outgrown his bassinet!  I'm selling it if anyone is interested.  He's our last baby.  Kinda sad.

Marjorie's Shower 5/2011

This is Jesse's younger sister Marjorie.  I got to help plan her shower for her first baby boy (after 3 girls)!

Whenever I go to baby showers, I think of my own two, both of which were thrown by my sister-in-law Tiffany.  My first one was here in Spokane at Tiffany's house for Alexis and my second was in West Linn, Or for John at Tiffany's house when they lived there.  I really loved both of them.  They are special and you never forget them (Thanks Tiff!!)
Grandma Fox and Asher.
Samatha's girls with my 1st cousin once removed at the bottom (red-head!).

We did the typical food/games/presents.  :)

Marjorie commented that she never needs nursing pads.  I laughed because I seriously go through like 3 boxes a week for the first few months.  I'm down to a box a week at 8 months old.  I should have nursed twins.
It was held at her friends Sheryl's house.  We can't wait to meet him Marj!

Cute 5/2011

It used to be that when I had a tired baby, I'd have Jesse walk them around to fall asleep.  Now I have Alexis and Julia who can do it and it's so cute!!

Eight Date 5/2011

We were three months late, but we finally took Annie on her "8 date".  We take our kids out to eat just us, the 8 year old and whatever baby I happen to have at the moment.  Annie wanted to go somewhere that had pancakes and hot cocoa.  We took her to Post Falls and went to this cute old-fashioned Denny's.

Eating her birthday sundae.
Annie has such zest and enthusiasm for life.  We are so lucky to have her in our lives!!

Noack Boys 4/2011

I think my dad forwarded me this picture and I had to keep it because it truly captures the essence of the "Noack Boys".
L to R: Kent, David (my dad), Aaron, Robert and Jared

Shrine Circus 4/2011

After a big discussion about how we work a lot and need more fun in our lives, we decided to take our kids to the Circus!  This was a lot smaller than the Ringling Brothers Circus, but fun nonetheless.
The tickets were cheap, but once you're in they try to get all the cash they can.  We were suckers and paid too much for our kids to ride an elephant (with two little boys we don't know on the front).  They had a great time, but apparently, elephants smell bad.  (Don't ask what it looks like when elephants go #2, I won't tell you, but if you ask John it was the funniest part of the whole circus!)
We went with a couple of Jesse's siblings and kids, so that made it even better!  Here's cousin Addy with our Annie.
I love how John's dimples come out when he chews.
Asher eyes were huge the whole night.  The lights were especially exciting for him!

This was crazy!
Annie has always had a fondness for poodles and she was giggling for joy with this routine!
This was the show stopper at the end.
