Becca's 18th birthday! 7/09

It's hard to believe it, but my cute little sister Becca is all grown up! I went to college when she was just four years old, but we have always been very close. She has become a good, sweet person. Now she's headed off to college soon. Crazy!

John was mad that we put frosting on the cake. He likes his plain!

HAPPY 18 BECCA!!!!!!!!!!!

John and Jessica 7/09

John likes going grocery shopping with me. Especially when I get treats. I bought some chips for a barbecue and he couldn't wait to get home to have some! When we got home I realized he had nodded off, with a chip still in his mouth!! He cracks me up sometimes.

On the driveway.

Snakes 6/09

I personally don't understand what there is to love about reptiles and I'm sure my children will chastise me when they read that, but they have a great love for any and all creatures, including snakes. They love hunting the woods to find them. We keep an old fish tank in the backyard and at times have up to 8 snakes living in it. Yeesh...it sends shivers up my spine thinking of it. At least they're outside. I feel like I'm a good mom to let them do it. :)

Brown's Ferry Park 6/09

Jesse does many great things with the kids, but this is one of the most fun. The past few summers he's taken them canoeing on the Tualatin River. This is one of the traditions we'll miss when we move!

6/09

Jesse got released from his calling so I made him take a picture for memories sake. :) I like documenting things. I know he'll miss serving with Bishop Dickson and Dana Westenhaver, they are good men.

Dad's idea of dinner 6/09

This is what happens when Daddy babysits. Aren't daddies fun!?

Parker's baptism 5/09

Simon & Jessica-cousins
I was too busy chasing kids that I didn't take pictures of the subject of the day, but I did get a picture of his cute little red-headed brother! Good job Parker!

Cousin Felicity's 4th birthday 6/09

John and Felicity
We were fortunate to have my sister Heather & her cute family visiting us from New Mexico for a week. It was especially fun because Felicity had her birthday while she was here! She's a cutie!! I miss my family . They all live too far away. I shouldn't complain too much though, because we've got Becca for her last summer before college!

Eating hot dogs and watching movies with cousins. Does life get better than that?

Cocoa 5/09

Cocoa on his pet leash.

This is a picture the kids took...pretty good!

Home for sale! 7/09

Memorial Day 5/09

John and Grandpa

My Dad was nice enough to drive up for Memorial Day and drop off my sister Becca to live here for the summer. She's working and going to BYU-I in the fall! We spent a nice day out at the coast. It was gorgeous weather!

2 acres 7/09

These are some pictures of the two acres we own behind Lee Farms. Our dream was to be in Tualatin forever and build here someday, but the reality is that life is pulling us to Spokane, WA soon. We just put this land under contract to be sold and it is pending now. We are really going to miss our friends, family and the green! This wasn't what we had in our plans, but the Lord is over all and we know it will be for the best. Spokane, here we come!!!! By the way, if anyone wants to buy the house we're currently in, we're selling for $384,900!
