Grandma's Halloween Story Time on Foxhill! 10/2010

Thanks for taking my kids whoever it was!  I admit that I can't remember which sister-in-law helped me.  I can blame it on sleep deprivation right?

Our pumpkins 10/2010

The kids really take pride in their pumpkins!

Costumes! 10/2010

This year I told John I was willing to buy him a costume and the other girls had to raid the dress-up.  They turned out pretty well!  I didn't dress up two-week old Asher, he stayed home with me and Jesse took the kids to our ward Trunk-or-Treat the night before Halloween.  We stayed home to pass out candy this year, since it was on a Sunday.
John as a glow-in-the-dark Skeleton.  I love his dimples.
I've never wanted to hug a skeleton, until now, that is.
Annie is so lucky to have sisters to help her look like a beautiful genie.  The hair-do was pretty amazing!

Julia as a black cat!
Alexis used her hand-sewn dress to look like a witch!
Jessica as the sweetest Little Mermaid!

Annie didn't eat her candy, she wanted to make a candy castle!!

Carving Pumpkins 10/2010

Jessica thought it was gross but fun and squishy inside!
Of course Jesse has to wear rubber gloves.  :)

John stabbing the pumpkin.  He does this every year.

We're home-for good! 10/2010

A cute flower arrangement from Jesse's sister Marjorie's family!

John, so glad his brother is home and that we get to keep him!

This is Jessica after church.  She likes to pull her tights.

I hold my babies...a lot.  They are so spoiled!  Jesse was laughing when he saw the baby in the laundry basket.  I guess he is never around when I'm doing laundry, but I've done this many, many times over the years.  I can sort, load, unload, pour laundry detergent, all with a baby in my arm, but I need two arms to carry the basket, so I put the baby in it after I take it out to haul upstairs, then I hold the baby while I sort it and put it away.  Sometimes in that small period they fall asleep.  It's cute.

Jaundice! 10/2010

After two days we had to get re-admitted to the hospital.  Asher was REALLY yellow.  The nurse at the hospital said she'd never seen that high of bilirubin levels before.  He was completely lethargic and getting really sick very fast.  He lost weight and was down to 5 lbs. 2 oz. He was skin and bone.  Luckily after a blessing and 3 days under the bili-lights he miraculously improved.  We got to go home and we had to go to the doctor every day for a week to check his levels.  We were glad when that was over and he started gaining weight!

We're home! 10/2010

We brought this little peanut home for two nights, he sure is tiny!

My visiting teacher brought us some fried chicken.  I really was cracking up watching Jessica "do it herself!"  She did her own hair as well that day.  :)

Sweet Julia has always been a lover of babies so she's in seventh heaven!!

And Then There Were SIX! 10/13/2010

Asher David Fox, our sixth child was born October, 13, 2010 on a Wednesday at 10:52am!  He was 6lbs. 2oz. and 17 1/2 inches long.  My smallest baby.  He has a tiny bit of red hair.  Poor John is our only brown haired child. :)

We are SO glad he's here!  I worried the most out of all my babies with this pregnancy so we were relieved to get him here.  He was 23 days early so we had a bit of trouble and had to be re-admitted to the hospital with Jaundice, but after the first week we were home and happy!

Brothers!  So sweet.

Can you see me in the middle of all those kids?  I am so outnumbered!

It is so nice to have Jesse's parents nearby.  We loved getting to show their newest and 49th grandchild to them.  :)  Grandma brought him a little Precious Memories stuffed toy and a little fox toy.  :)

Jessica playing doctor with a stethoscope she found in a drawer.

Our sister-in-law Katie came by too....
