Valentines Day 2/2014

Our ever-festive Annie-girl made brownies for the family.  Complete with stenciling using powdered sugar!
The kids made a "cake" with our Valentine's pillow. :)

Jesse surprised each of the kids with surprises on their beds.  Good job honey!!
Our awesome friends planned a fun night.  We rode a limo to The Wolf Lodge Inn in Coeur de Alene, ID.  We both had steaks, since that's what they're famous for.  Jesse and the guys tried the Rocky Mountain Oysters as an appetizer.  I didn't have the guts.
The décor is western, and this lovely specimen was hanging above our table.
What a fun night!  Good friends, good food, and someone to share it with!

Chinese New Year! 1/2014

It's rare for Chinese New Year to fall in January.  It's my year-year of the horse!
We usually go out for Chinese, but this year just got Panda Express to go.  Not very authentic, but the kids had fun. :)
(And cousin Eliza got to be with us!)
John gobbles up orange chicken!
Chopsticks are tricky...
Not sure how the chopsticks are helping here.  Lol.

January 2014

A visit to Jesse's model home turned into a broken wrist for John.  He was playing "tightrope" on the end of a bed and took a tumble.  Poor kid!
Jessica and Asher got these Fox towels for Christmas.  How cute is Asher?
Playing dress-up with cousins.
The snow continues!  John and his buddy Preston love getting together.
The birds taking a rest in our trees!
They like sledding with dad!

Ice Skating 1/2014

Annie got some ice skates for Christmas and got to try them out on the golf course lake behind our house.  Jesse is so awesome to play with the kids outside!
We really do live in a pretty little town.

Do you want to build a snowman? 1/2014

Yay!  I'm actually posting 2014 pictures!
It's pretty obvious in these pictures, but Jesse is the best, most fun daddy!

Now that's a snowman!

New Year's Eve 12/2013

Julia and Coryn made a beautiful New Year's cake!

We had cousins and friends over and had a wonderful night!  Eliza and Jessica were so excited when they saw each other.  They just happened to be wearing matching outfits!
Sparkling cider with friends is more special.
These kids partied it up!
Happy New Year!

Nativity 12/2013

John, Mary and baby Jesus.
Mary is so loving.
What a good mommy.

Annie is a wise-woman, complete with a camel from Iraq.  (Thanks Uncle Shad!) Excuse the mess behind.
The "other" wiseman refused to wear clothes.  Now you know why he didn't make it in the story.
I love the tradition of remembering the real reason why we celebrate Christmas!

At Home Christmas Eve 12/2013

Traditional Christmas Eve dinner started in San Carlos with my mom's side of the family!
Our lovely, fresh tree!
Santa's favorite cookies!

Christmas Eve at Chuck & Merleen's 12/2013

Asher chillin' with Santa.
Joseph and Jessica being silly..
And sweet!
This used to be Jesse's Grandpa Bill and Grandma Edra Fox's home.  It was on the same land as the house he grew up in so it has a lot of memories.  Much of the furniture and décor is still the same.
These two book-worms are cousin/friends!
It wouldn't be Christmas Eve without a little talent show!
The Calls are always good for entertainment!
Annie and Abby planned this together.
