The Problem With Having Too Many Sisters 8/08

Poor John. He is pretty manly despite all the girls around here, but every once and a while I catch him doing something like this. I threw in a picture of him with his sword, just so he doesn't feel too bad later that I posted these!

Blackberry Tarts and Galette 8/08

My girls love to cook and bake. They wanted to make something while I made pies. Julia and Annie made a little tart and Alexis opted for a galette. They were pretty tasty!

Baby Daycare

The girls had the great idea to earn some money and opened up baby daycare. They hire out for 50 cents and hour. That's a bargain if you ask me! One day, they even put her to sleep. They draw the line at poopy diapers. You can't have it all.

Annual Campout 8/08

The dirty children.

Cleaning up camp. No, Jesse didn't purposely match the tent.

Cards.
Bo & John wouldn't smile, so I told them to give me a "serious" face. They liked that idea better.

Annie taking a break from chipmunk hunting.

Elise, Julia & Heidi-so cute.

A view of the lake from our campsite.

We had a surprise visit from the Williams on their boat. Greg was a good sport to pull everyone around!

John & Jacob.

John was tired!

We got back from the Fox Reunion and had a day to recouperate before going to Detroit Lake on our Annual campout with some good friends. We'll give ourselves a little more time next year!
True to tradition, we did have a bit of thunder/lightning and rain, but not too much. We had a great site. It is fun to sit around the campfire after the kids crash in the tent and have some adult conversation.

North Idaho-The Moyie River 8/08

While we were in Spokane for the reunion we popped over to North Idaho with Jesse's brother Abe and his family to stay a night at the cabin they grew up going to as kids. It was fun for them to relieve thier memories and other than the killer mosquitos and pillowless beds, everyone else had fun too.

Grandpa's fire at Foxhill 8/08

Grandpa Fox built a fire and the kids roasted hundreds of marshmallows. I've never seen so many smores! Another notable photo-the vehicles. Mini-vans and 15 passenger vans. :) The house looked beautiful in the sunset.

Fox Family Reunion Talent Show

This went really well considering we had 40+ kids and 20+ adults. You know you're a big family when you can't even add them up anymore. Mind you, this is Jesse's parents, siblings and their kids. It was at Jesse's parents house on "Foxhill".

Chuck E. Cheese

Chuck E. Cheese. Where you go when you have tons of cousins to entertain while your husband is playing games with his brother all day. This was a part of the annual Fox Family Reunion.
