Misc. September 2014

We go apple picking in Greenbluff in the fall and get a few boxes to last us a few months. The kids got a fun ride too!
Jesse's 38th birthday!  We had popcorn cake with the kids and went on a date to Churchill's for an amazing steak dinner.
I LOVE, LOVE that we are so close to church that we can walk in nice weather!
We hit our local Krispy Kreme for its annual talk like a pirate day.  If you dress like one they give you a dozen.
We got four dozen free donuts!
We did spring for some chocolate milk to go with them. Arrgg!!

Spokane Interstate Fair 9/2014

It was kids free at the Fair day so we made a day of it!  I took the four littles (as I call them).
Pig racing is so cute!

All this kids took turns petting the cow, but Jessica was the only one who went in for a hug.  Apparently calves have soft fur!
Petting piggies.
We got the grand tour from a bored 4H kid.  It was awesome!
It was complete with a sheep shearing!
We did the train tour as well. I have always wanted to take my kids on a real train ride someday.  We've done zoo trains and the like, but I'm talking Amtrak or something.
Pony rides all around.  I feel sorry for the ponies going around all day, but the kids loved it.
Annie was excited about the big slide!
It was a fun day to be a kid!

1st Day of School 9/2014

Wasn't it just yesterday Alexis was starting high school as a Freshman?  Now she's a sophomore!  She is so ready for this.  College is on the horizon!!  Crazy.
Jessica is a 1st grader!  Julia, Annie, John and Jessica are doing a 5 hour a week homeschool supplement school.
Asher wanted to be in her picture too. Unfortunately, I forgot to get pictures of Annie (6th grade) and Julia (8th grade). I'm kicking myself!!
John is 3rd grade this year.
It was actually a big day for John, because it also happened to be his first pack meeting as a cubscout and his first soccer game of the fall season!
He is on a Shadow club team right now.  He is a soccer fiend!

Becca's Visit 8/2014

Ignore my mom hair and notice my beautiful sister Becca!  She came up to visit with her cute little girl Hallie for a few days!  We had a fantastic time with them!  We were sad Christian had to stay home and work. :(
We BBQ'ed in the beautiful weather! Appetizers were chips, Cheetos and watermelon. A good balance. Haha.
Jesse's not much of a griller, but he is happy to if I prepare the food and he just has to put it on and turn it. My mouth is watering.  They were delicious shish-kebabs!
Two cute little munchers.
Hallie kept gravitating toward our veggie baskets.  I'm sad to say she got bonked in the head once by it!
A day at the park and a bit of static electricity!
Ice cream is a good way to cool down!
We love Liberty Lake!
Hallie takes her play very seriously. :)
Come back soon!!

Soccer Birthday 8/2014

Our John LOVES soccer.  He says it isn't just a game-it's LIFE!  So it was actually perfect that on his birthday he had a game.
Coach Scott is amazing and such a team builder.
He is my favorite 9 year old!
The team was also glad it was John's birthday, because we brought doughnuts!
I don't need to say it, but YUM!
He wore himself out!!
