Best Family Pictures! 10/2013

Our best family pictures ever were taken by our friend Randi.  We LOVE them!!  Asher was really hard to get, he just wanted to climb the rocks!
Our little googly-eye girl (pre-surgery).
I love this little sweetheart!

Our daydreamer...
What a beauty!
Alexis is so mature for a 14 year old!
This kid has personality, he had to get his tooth pulled after hitting it on some furniture.  Poor boy.

Halloween Party at Foxhill 10/2013

It's a gorgeous day above the clouds on Foxhill!  It's annual cousin Halloween party time!
This year's party planners were Annie, Talitha, Ruth, Julia and Abby.  Otherwise known as Phantom of the Opera Masquerade girl, Mad Scientist, Gypsy Fortune Teller, Bellatrix Lestrange and a witch.

Annie and Abby started off their station by having the kids decorate their own masquerade masks.
Then they put on a Masquerade Ball!
So adorable!
Bellatrix taught them all how to make spider webs...
Our Gypsy fortune teller gave out some wild fortunes.  John is going to have 10 kids and be Stake President someday! :)
It was all fun and games until Samatha sat on some candles and burned her coat. :)

Drinking the potion the mad scientist concocted!
Cousins are so fun!

New food and Asher's 3rd Birthday! 10/2013

Jesse and I went with his Brother Baden & wonderful wife Mary Ellen to a fancy French restaurant to celebrate Jesse and Baden's birthdays. I discovered, I love French dessert, but food, not so much.  I tried four new things.  Baby octopus, which Jesse loved, was actually okay, but I didn't care for the texture.  I had parsnips, which were good.  I ate veal, which tasted really gamey, I'm not sure if that's how veal always tastes, or if it was the herbs de provence I didn't like.  The worst though was escargot. I literally was gagging it down.  It tastes like dirt and the texture is exactly what you imagine it would be. I will not be eating that again.  The ambiance and company made up for the food though.
This boy is three!  He's still so tiny!  He got yellow cake with rainbow chip frosting, simple as can be, with an unfrosted portion for picky siblings. He was easily pleased!
He likes the frosting!
It was nice of Grandpa and Grandma Fox to let us go to Foxhill to celebrate.
This girl is growing up!!
