Liberty Lake Hike-Fox Reunion 7/2013

We enjoyed our hike to the waterfalls a few weeks before so much, we thought we'd go back with Abe and Betsy's family.  Officially the reunion was over, but we squeezed in this fun activity.  It was about 4 miles total.
Can you believe this is just our two families?
It's so sweet when kids hold hands.
Meeting a horse on the trail is good luck.

We made it to the cedars.  A gorgeous grove and a good resting spot!
Annie is at home in nature.
I can see a teenager in John here. He's only 7!
Cannon is a crack-up!
We brought grapes for snacks and supplemented with tiny wild strawberries.  They were hard to find!
Annie brought her wilderness survival guide, for identifying trees.
Uncle Abe and the cute little boys.
Betsy is a fun hiking partner.  The kids ran out of steam so we were getting double the workout.  I have a problem with heat.  It really wasn't bad for July and in the shade, but I like hiking at about 65 degrees.  May and October are my favorites.
I wish this picture wasn't so fuzzy.  They are communicating up there.  So cute.
After our hike, John was elated to play on Minecraft with an expert, cousin Clark.
Clark ended the reunion by finding a snake, like he always does.  He's the snake-whisperer.
And that's the close of another great reunion!

Foxhill and Campout-Fox Reunion 7/2013

Eight of the nine Fox kids.  Baden was at work. Boo.  Jesse is in one of those silly moods he gets in when he's joking around with his siblings.  Notice the look on his face. :)
One of the meals at Foxhill.
We go on a "mom walk" down the hill after meals to burn some calories.
Here are a few of my wonderful sister-in-laws and cousin-in-laws!
Grandpa is good for hugs.
I LOVE this picture!  (Photo cred to my Bro-in-law Abe) It captures the joy of the cousins!
We had a campout on Foxhill one night.  And when I say "we" I mean the dads and the kids.
Jessica and Faith riding on the back of the golf cart.  Relaxing and loving life!
Woo Hoo!  A bouncy house.
The little kids were scared to enter after the big kids took over.
Skeet shooting-Grandpa is awesome to provide this fun activity.  We're just glad no one got shot.
Uncle Stu was nice to help John.
Two peas in a pod...er...a tent.
Grandma has cool bikes!
On top of someone's car.

Picnic and Talent Show-Fox Reunion 2013

We met at the Foothills Ward Building for a picnic...
followed by a Rock, Paper, Scissors Tourney and the annual talent show.

The good looking part of the talent-show audience.
Poor Bethany started to lose her audience.  After about 50 cousins have a turn, kids don't have patience.  :)

Temple-Fox Reunion 7/2013

We always have a Youth and an adult trip to the temple during the reunion.
Here are a few of the kids who went.  It was Julia's first time!
We ended up color-coordinated. :)
We stopped at the project (Highlands/Red Fox Ridge) for Jesse to show off the views and walk in the dirt.  One of his favorite things to do.  They were about to fall of the cliff, just so you know.
