Special Connection.

Julia claims to have a special connection to Jessica because they're the only girls in the family that have names that start with a "J". She's rooting for her to have curly hair too! Julia is very nurturing. She'll be a good mommy someday!

Suzuki Book 1 Recital

Alexis has worked for two years to learn and memorize the 20+ songs in her book! She did a great job! Her teacher, Rebecca Webb did some duets with her. Uncle Stu's & Uncle Phil's families came to watch and support her. She loves performing.

The girls.

This baby gets enough attention!

Sweet Pea!

I've got my first thumb sucker! My last three kids haven't used a pacifier, but I'm making Jessica use one. I'm hoping she'll forget about her thumb. Wish me luck!

Jessica's 1st time in a swimsuit

Our friends the Dickson's invited us to eat/swim at Mandy's parents house. I didn't get into my swimsuit, but Jessica did! So cute!

God Bless America!!!!

We love to celebrate Independence day! We started out at 8am at our Meridian Park and Hedges Creek Ward's pancake breakfast and parade. We ended up at Jesse's brother Stuart's 5 acres for a BBQ. The cousins got to play and the guys put on a fireworks show for us, which I neglected to bring a camera for. I suppose it's difficult to shoot at night anyway. John slept through the fireworks! They were so loud, he must have been really tuckered out!

Tea

We try to go to tea whenever Becca visits. This is a cute place run by a couple of ladies straight from England! Their accents are so great. The girls weren't into actually drinking the tea, they went for the hot chocolate. They especially liked the crumpets!

Becca's visit

Becca has come up to visit us for a week or two every summer. She's been to Spokane, Gig Harbor and Tualatin! This was her last year before College so we may not get her again. We really enjoyed her visit. She's a fun Aunt and we don't get to see her often enough!
