Pita Pockets 6/2012

These are the kind of pictures on my blog that are purely for my enjoyment.

I found mini-pita pockets at the store and Asher looked so cute holding them.  They were just his size.
We had them filled with ham, eggs and cream cheese.  I also put sliced celery on mine, but Asher didn't want any.
What a ham!!

End of Year Celebration 6/2012

Our kids go to a homeschool supplement school 5 hours a week (2 x a week for 2 1/2 hours).  These are the elementary students singing songs for their end of year show.
The kids all had artwork on display.
This is a game Alexis made about the Yukon Gold Rush.

This is a banyan tree.

A cousin, Annie and a friend.  Cuties!
The kids were sad that their art teacher, Mrs. Peavey was retiring.   She was great!

Birds Nest! 6/2012

Isn't mother nature amazing?  What lovely eggs!  Needless to say my kids were ecstatic to find this in a  tree in our backyard!  Especially Julia.

I was outside picking up toys when I noticed a sign on the tree that Julia  had made.

So cute.  I love my sweet daughters!
A week later....

Memorial Day 5/2012

I had no idea that I would marry someone, and that our families would be buried in the same Pines Cemetery in Spokane Valley, WA.  Maybe it was meant-to-be with us.

The kids like to run around.

This is my dad's little brother who died when he was nine.

This is my father's father, or Papa, as we called him.  He was a wonderful kindhearted man.  We have a  tradition to put a pine cone for each person that visits.  Someone had been there before us.
My kids with their great-grandmother, my Nana.  We enjoyed visiting with her and remembering her husband and son.  It is so nice to live by her!
It was blustery!
These are Jesse's grandparents, Bill and Edra Fox.  I got to meet Edra while we were engaged.  She passed away right before we got married.

Sunny Day 5/2012

Asher being silly on a sunny day!

Jessica is silly too!

This is a good shot of Jessica and her "googly eye".  She has amblyopia and strabismus and her eye crosses when she's not wearing glasses.  She has to patch 3 hours a day.  We're hoping to avoid surgery!

When ever I hear faint screaming and Jessica is missing, I know right where to find her.  She climbs the tree on the right, because she can get up in it by stepping on the sandbox.  At first, she only climbed up a little.  By the end of the summer she would get up about 3/4's up, and get stuck.  She can't climb down.  So that meant that I, her mother, would have to climb up after her.  Talk about embarrassing   I had a whole culdesac of neighbors to laugh about it.
She keeps doing it though!  It is fun to climb trees!

Annie 5/2012

Annie's dream is to play "Annie" in the musical.

Her big sisters had fun dressing her up and fixing her hair to fit the part.

She's cute!

This was her mother's day gift to me.  She made a pot from clay dug out of Grandpa and Grandma Fox's yard, painted it green, and even made chocolate dipped pretzels!  What a sweetheart!

Asher's Broken Arm 5/2012

This is our happy boy.

He pulled our heavy glass end table down on himself and he crushed a bone in his arm.  They made him a black plastic cast  molded to his arm, and wrapped.  It was nice that we could remove it to bathe him, but he sure didn't like wearing it!
It is sad that he broke his tiny arm.  Poor buddy!

April and May 2012

The birthday brownie my girls made me-and Jessica helped me blow out the candles!  It also happened that my first day of being Primary President fell on my birthday.  Kinda stressful, but the brownies definitely helped!

Jessica loves to go on walks with Jesse and me.  She always rides her bike.

Can I freeze time???

Julia-Braces round two.  She makes  them look good!

I let Asher have some leftover cookie dough, and when I turned my back, he was on the table!  He's six out of six kids who love to help in the kitchen!

Temporarily Toothless 4/2012

I don't know why he had to bite his sword, but he is missing a few teeth!

John-boy.
