Smoked Oysters 12/09

Every year Santa brings Jesse and Julia smoked oysters and kippered snacks in their stockings. I'm always amazed that such a cute little girl would eat something like this.

Not appetizing to me, but I'm glad they enjoy it!

How in the world did Santa ever START this tradition? Santa would NEVER think of putting that in any of the Pabst stockings!

Jesse had a scout leader that introduced him to them on a campout and the rest is history!

Brave girl! I might have written a very disgruntled letter to Santa if he'd put that in my stocking LOL Think I'd prefer coal ;o) So glad to see you on blogger! I'm going to follow you now~ love to see what you are up to! Thanks for stopping by my little scrapbook on the web, too :o)

Not sure about the oysters but, all I know is that you haven't changed a bit since the college days. Thanks for your nice comment.......if only my kids were as enthused about my style choices!

Yes Mandy, I just moderate my comments so I have to approve them before they show up. :) We don't have plans to visit yet, but we'll let you know when we do. (We do miss it!) If you're ever in the Spokane/Coeur de Alene area, look us up.
