Lincoln City 7/09

We had our annual Fox Reunion in Lincoln City this year. It was a great place for the kids of course. The beach is wonderful, but with cousins it's the best!!! We stayed in several beach houses along the coast. During the day we wore out the kids and had fun playing games in the evenings. It was perfect weather. We were very fortunate!

Cousin Eliza and Jessica

Mason, Annie, Elinor Everett and John getting muddy

Elinor with a Mole Crab

John swimming in a large "lake" that was left on shore when the tide went out. It was warm and shallow, perfect!

John, Elinor, Simon & Everett playing "crocodiles"

Beach treasures!

Part of our group.

Some of the men-looking REALLY white, I might add.

Alexis flying her kite.

My boys-the water was COLD!!!

Uncle Abe was kind enough to be willing to be buried by many energetic children!

Watch the face!

The children were proud of this very large sandcastle! It was eventually washed out to sea-it only took a few seconds!

Alexis is flying her kite while standing in the middle. She was pretty happy!!

I love all your beach pictures. The beach is the best...especially with cousins. I am glad you posted because I have been thinking about you today. I don't want to home school but am looking for a pre-k curriculum for George (4) to help him with preschool this year. Something I (or his nanny...I work) can do at home with him in the afternoons. And if there is something for Charlie (2.5) too that would be great. What would you recommend?

I have a couple of good ideas Amy:

http://www.funsteps.com/ is a good secular preschool with fun lesson plans they have programs for both ages of your boys or their music is fun too. http://www.valuesparenting.com/joyschool/ is another option that is values based. Good luck! If you have more questions you can email me.
