Independence Day Ward Breakfast 7/09

Julia and Becca after breakfast. Yum!!

We started off our Fourth at a delicious pancake breakfast put on for the two wards in Tualatin. It was bittersweet. Sweet because we got to see lots of our dear friends on this special day. It was a little bitter knowing we probably won't be here next year. We absolutely LOVE Tualatin and the people. We are going to leave, but we will always feel like Tualatin is home for us.

Alexis and I. Isn't she looking older?
John.
Alexis made a goal to memorize the Preamble to the Constitution and was able to perform it that morning. She did great!

John waving his flag.

The Primary kids singing patriotic songs.

The kids favorite part is the bicycle parade. They rode loops around the parking lot until the very end! They have so much energy.

Our friend Anthony striking a pose.

Julia and her friend Heidi. They were pleased to discover they had matching bikes!
