I was worried we missed strawberry season as it's usually in June, but we had a rainy spring so we got lucky at Carver Farms! |
We need these beauties to make freezer jam! |
The car smelled so heavenly! |
Later....strawberry roulade. |
June still has down-pouring rain at times. My kids love it. They got a bit of my Gig Harbor genes! |
Excuse this pants-less child. |
They just ran out the door! |
We also have sunny days in June, this is our cul-de-sac. If I had a panoramic camera you'd see more kids. It's always a party! |
Summer calls for days at Liberty Lake. We bought a blow-up 2 man boat and it has been a great purchase! |
Love kids in goggles! |
Jesse and I celebrated our 16th anniversary with a night at the Davenport. This is us the day before we got married when I had my endowments taken out at the Seattle Temple. |
This curly top wakes me up with a "Good morning Mama!" each day. |
We have a delicious tradition of going to Baskin Robbins after the last day of school each year. |
We are serious about ice cream in the Fox household! |
Morning sibling cuddles are so sweet. |
Jesse's parents graciously let us take over their home for an evening where we had a cultural night and games. It was very nice because I had made dinner for 20. :) |
Chilean completos. A glorified hot-dog served on a fresh bun. |
This is a good bunch of kids! |
The lentejas (lentils) took the longest to make. I was chopping vegetables forever. :) |
We taught workshops and classes. This is where the kids are having companionship scripture study. |
Miscellaneous pictures from May....Cousin Abby and Annie at a school field trip playing dress up. |
Jesse took our girls and some friends to a Beyond 5 concert. THEY HAD A BLAST!! |
This is TJ. He signed their t-shirts. Jesse is a fun dad! |
Jesse has really enjoyed being 2nd counselor in YM with his friend Ryan Romney as Scoutmaster. |
My cousin had this darling baby girl. She is #4 after three older brothers, so she's a blessing. |
So sad that Jesse's brother Baden, wife Mary Ellen and kids moved! Before they left, Grandma Fox asked me to take a picture of her with their adorable baby Henry. |
Alexis and her friend Emma got their drivers permits the same day! I have a teenager driving!! I can't be that old! |
I thought it was sweet that Asher fell asleep with his hands folded like this. |
This shows the ups and downs in temperature in May. Swim shorts and a coat. It's sunny, so he thought it was summer, until he felt the chilly temps and asked for a coat. :) |
Only Annie would think to make a homemade hammock out of rolled up newspapers. It hung pretty low when she sat in it though. |
The kids friend Shaun is always up for a game. |
Loving Liberty Lake! |
I love our little city!! It has wonderful events, like the Pancake Breakfast and Memorial Day Program. Asher was very interested in the armed forces that did the flag ceremony. |
This hair is awesome! |
The reverence by our veterans for those that have died for us was palpable. |
The kids wanted to be as patriotic as possible, and even got their teddy bears involved! |
The breakfast is actually pretty good! |
It was a nice (yet windy) day. We dropped the kids off with chips and popsicles at the park for a while. |
Watermelon is so yummy! |
We got invited to a BBQ at our friends house and brought pie! This was such a great day. |
