Disneyland! 4/2014

Here we are at California Adventure!  We decided to forgo birthday parties this year (except Asher) and do a trip to Disney instead!  It was a good choice.  Less work for me and a great memory.

We packed in a lot on the trip.
1. Drove to Rexburg to visit my Dad and Step-mom Karen.
2. Drove to Utah to visit my Step-dad Dave and my Mom in Bountiful.
3. Saw some old friends of Jesse's in Salt Lake (Rusty & Sara Clifton and Natalie and Shane Plummer and families).
4. Jesse took Annie and John to General Conference at the Conference Center with some Fox cousins.
5. Drove to St. George to visit the temple.
6. Drove to Vegas to visit my sister Heather and her family.
7. Drove to Anaheim and met up with my Grandpa Harrington and aunt Amanda Harrington for the evening.
8. DID DISNEY.
9. DID DISNEY AGAIN.
10. Retraced our steps back home.

Basically, it was a lot of driving and unpacking and packing, but we were able to see so many people we love and have a blast while we were at it.  So now, a huge post of photos:
Sophia the 1st!
Asher's favorite part was seeing Jake at the Disney Junior on Stage show!

It was hot in California Adventure!
Love this curly-top.
Jesse made the slowest bumper cars in history seem fun. :)
Jessica's face is so adorable with her missing tooth!
Cooling down.
Thank heavens for whoever invented double strollers!
We really enjoyed the Pixar Play Parade.  It had great music and amazing performers!

Our kids always want these big suckers at theme-parks.
Paradise Pier is beautiful at night! We didn't get to do very much of it, because two days wasn't nearly enough time to visit all that Disneyland has to offer!!
Asher was hilarious during the World of Color water spectacular show.  He was so excited.  I tried to get a video, but the lighting was poor.  He was going so crazy happy that the spectators around us were watching him as much as the show.  He was dancing and yelling and singing up on Jesse's shoulders.  I love this memory!
Another parade with lots of familiar faces!

Mary Poppins is my favorite!

My computer died and I lost a lot of pictures from this trip, I'm glad we have a few (some of them made it to Instagram)  It was so fun!

Such fun pictures. Disney doesn't disappoint. I like the idea of everyone giving up a bigger birthday party for a family vacation.
