Vegas 4/2014

My Sister Heather and her Husband Shad live in Vegas and we were able to stay with them.  They were great hosts!  We wish we could visit them more often!  My sisters surprised me with a little birthday party!  So fun and yummy ice cream cone cupcakes too!

I'm not sure how well Asher would do with a younger sibling, he wasn't into sharing.  Hallie was too sweet to notice. :)

I got a kick out of Major Kidd's name on his house!  What a great visit!!!

Disneyland! 4/2014

Here we are at California Adventure!  We decided to forgo birthday parties this year (except Asher) and do a trip to Disney instead!  It was a good choice.  Less work for me and a great memory.

We packed in a lot on the trip.
1. Drove to Rexburg to visit my Dad and Step-mom Karen.
2. Drove to Utah to visit my Step-dad Dave and my Mom in Bountiful.
3. Saw some old friends of Jesse's in Salt Lake (Rusty & Sara Clifton and Natalie and Shane Plummer and families).
4. Jesse took Annie and John to General Conference at the Conference Center with some Fox cousins.
5. Drove to St. George to visit the temple.
6. Drove to Vegas to visit my sister Heather and her family.
7. Drove to Anaheim and met up with my Grandpa Harrington and aunt Amanda Harrington for the evening.
8. DID DISNEY.
9. DID DISNEY AGAIN.
10. Retraced our steps back home.

Basically, it was a lot of driving and unpacking and packing, but we were able to see so many people we love and have a blast while we were at it.  So now, a huge post of photos:

Paradise Pier is beautiful at night! We didn't get to do very much of it, because two days wasn't nearly enough time to visit all that Disneyland has to offer!! 

Asher was hilarious during the World of Color water spectacular show.  He was so excited.  I tried to get a video, but the lighting was poor.  He was going so crazy happy that the spectators around us were watching him as much as the show.  He was dancing and yelling and singing up on Jesse's shoulders.  I love this memory!

My computer died and I lost a lot of pictures from this trip, I'm glad we have a few (some of them made it to Instagram)  It was so fun!

Misc. 3/2014

Julia drew this of Benedict Cumberbatch.  She's amazing!

Sunny days bring Annie's outdoor games to life again.  This is a game that absolutely required real bread.  Mommy wouldn't take them to the store, so Annie baked her own.  Isn't it cute with the lines and everything?  She's the best big sis! 

We took the kids on a long hike along the Spokane River.  At the end Jessica was tuckered out and "fell asleep" on a rock. 

It took us a while to get this pink-cheeked girly to move. :)

Spring Chickens 3/2014

I was so happy to take my kids to see some chicks!  They are the quintessential sign of spring! 

It was Asher's first time seeing real chicks.  He was very excited!

Pinewood Derby 3/2014

John is so fortunate, he has a Grandpa and a dad to help him with his first pinewood derby car!!
Grandpa has quite the assortment of woodworking tools in his garage!

Boys love spray-paint.  They made two cars, just for fun!
