We got LOTS of snow in December. I think we got at least 19 inches. The top layer was a sheet of ice.

Our backyard. The back wall is about 3 feet tall so that gives you an idea of how deep it was. That's the kids picnic table in the center. I took this before the storm dumped more on us. We got our wish of a white Christmas! I liked the fact that Jesse was stuck at home with us for a week. :)

Honestly, I can not believe all the snow the NW got. We haven't had nearly that much out here in CO this winter, how wierd is that?!
What a fun adventure and nice change from the rain. I am sure the kids loved it.
