| My kids like to enter contests in the local paper, The Splash. This month they were asking for acrostic poems using the word FREEDOM. I was so pleased with each of their poems. They were unique and patriotic! Annie ended up winning 1st place and she got a big basket full of summer toys and s'more fixings as her prize from the newspaper! |

| We did another summer at our friend's property where he lets us have our own garden plot. We are so fortunate! It is really hard to plan times to go though. Our kids are so busy! |

| Jessica enjoys practicing soccer with John and wanted to play on her own team for a year or two, but we hesitated due to her social anxiety. We finally signed her up and she lasted for two practices and two games before anxiety got the best of her. |
