Misc. May 2015

Our garden is planted!
Annie, Jane, Tori, and Maya. Cute friends.
Julia made this in art class at SVLA. It promptly got broken by kids. I loved the frosting and sprinkles lid!
This boy is non-stop funny. His prayer on lunch was typical,
"Bless that when I grow up I'm going to marry mommy. Bless that I don't go to heaven because I love it here so much. Bless that when I grow up I'm going to drive around crazy in a car!"
Jesse cut the edges of our grass back and the kids had great fun playing with it and spelling words on the lawn!
Grandpa Fox loves his massages. I got a kick out of this one with multiple cousins involved.
John bought me fancy cookies for Mother's Day. I laughed when four-year-old Asher said, "Ooh! Spider-Man cookies!"
Annie loved adventures, and I find list like this around the house. :)
Breakfast at the Davenport with my girls! Heaven.
One of my favorite things about sitting on the end at church (like I always do) is leaning over and looking at my row of people I love.
Jessica was delighted with this scripture handout her teacher made her out of chocolates.
Asher in an airplane!

Jesse took these kiddo's disc golfing with the discs Uncle Kelly bought us!

Cataldo Mission 5/2015

We did a drive to the Old Mission State Park, or the Cataldo Mission as the locals call it, in Cataldo, ID. It's an old Jesuit mission/trading post with lots of history. It's the oldest standing building in ID, built in 1848.
We also enjoyed the weather and beauty of the day!
I am into old churches. :)
Our sweet-pea.
King of the stump!
A smaller stump, for a smaller boy.
Saltbox houses are the cutest! This is the Parish house.
We did a hike around the property.
It's beautiful there!

The gift shop had yummy caramels.
The mission.
I told my kids to sit still and be serious like they were in church long ago. Asher can't hold still yet.

We need to go back!

Pavillion Park 5/2015

I love our little community!  And yes, I know that pavilion is spelled with one l, but our park uses the old-fashioned spelling with two l's!  PAVILLION park has a lot of great events, but we've made the Memorial Day Breakfast an annual tradition.
They put on a program with music and recognize our local veterans as well.
We always run into friends, or make new ones!
My loves!
Melt my heart.
We went to Bumpers and went bowling and played mini-golf with the four younger kids. It was fun!

Raingutter Regatta 5/2015

The raingutter regatta is always a fun time!
We have a great group in our ward!
Love my handsome John!!

First Church Dance 5/2015

This is the face I got when I asked them to smile for me on their way out the door to Julia's first church dance...
but then they gave me a couple of cute ones!!
I'm sure you didn't notice I was taking these from the comfort of my bed, right?  Haha.

Splash Poems 5/2015

My kids like to enter contests in the local paper, The Splash. This month they were asking for acrostic poems using the word FREEDOM.  I was so pleased with each of their poems.  They were unique and patriotic! Annie ended up winning 1st place and she got a big basket full of summer toys and s'more fixings as her prize from the newspaper!
I think John was at soccer when we dropped these off at the Splash office. So cute!

Gardening 5/2015

We did another summer at our friend's property where he lets us have our own garden plot.  We are so fortunate!  It is really hard to plan times to go though.  Our kids are so busy!
We try to go first thing before it gets too hot (hence the bedhead)
Kids in the dirt, where they are meant to be. :)
Good memories!
